JUST IN CASE - Branding for the end of the world

For nearly a year I’ve had this whole album of photos from last summers family trip to Scotland just sitting in my hard drive. I’ve played around in photoshop with a good number of them to see if I could find the right look and feel for these pictures but apart from a few which came out right given the right effect I could never really find the right unifying theme for these photos.

So tonight I decided to learn a few tutorials on post processing effects for photographs on Photoshop, and I quickly stumbled upon one called  ’vintage effect”.

This quickly grabbed my attention and as I started to look through my fodlers of photos I suddenly remembered the Scotland trip. Once I had finished the first one I couldn’t stop and had set myself the goal to make a small set. 

The photos here are the results of tonight’s boredom which I have tried to channel into something somewhat productive.

Although our family holiday took us around a lot of Scotland all apart from one of the photos above were taken on the Isle of Skye (in northern Scotland) which I must admit when the sun shined was truly a breath taking place.
